We are pleased to inform you that GS United Football Club has achieved The FA Charter Standard Club status on 19 January 2015.

Launched in 2001, The FA Charter Standard Programme supported by McDonald’s is The Football Association’s National Accreditation Scheme for grassroots clubs and leagues.

Its goal is to raise standards in grassroots football, support the development of clubs and leagues, recognising and rewarding them for their commitment and achievements.

With this in mind, The FA Charter Standard accreditation is awarded to clubs and leagues rigorously adjudged to be well-run and sustainable – and which prioritise child protection, quality coaching and implementation of the Respect programme.

There are three levels of FA Charter Standard Awards for clubs and we are delighted that GS United Football Club has achieved the entry-level Accreditation FA Charter Standard Club for youth and adult clubs.

The only Youth Development Club in the island, we are delighted that all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes at GS United FC has not gone unnoticed and we thank all of our coaches, students and parents for their commitment at support! This couldn’t have happened without you!

We look forward to receiving our Charter Standard Award from the Jersey Football Association in due course.

BOOM!

What a fantastic morning! We are delighted with this morning's learning and player development. Today we used a different approach to our sessions and focused on working together as a team, supporting each other by creating space and passing forward.

Our coaches are really pleased and proud of how the "Game Sense" understanding developed from start to finish in each session and with each and every player! Well done to allof you! :-)

Have a great week at school and we look forward to seeing you all again next Sunday! Wooo-Hoooo!
