Our coaches are pleased to announce that we shall be assisting a former player of ours to complete a summer project abroad. Josh Le Cornu was coached by Aaron and Ken for almost 10 years and we are very proud to hear that Josh has decided to dedicate his summer to supporting local Children in Africa.

To support Josh in his endeavours, we have agreed to donate our £5.00 from each player registration for the Summer Term 2015 to aid this young man and support him in acheiving his objectives through the 'Projects Abroad' programme. We shall also be donating some Football Kit for Josh to take with him and provide to the children he shall be working with.

Starting on the 19th of July this year Josh will be in St Louis, Senegal; on the coast of west africa. The project is run by Projects Abroad and it involves helping the local street children known as Talibés to become more independent and improve their quality of life.

The intention is to complete the course as soon as Josh finishes his academic year. The cost of the course for the three week period is £1545 with the suggested flight cost from the UK to Senegal being suggested at £695 by the Projects Abroad website. This would give a total cost of £2240, excluding any visa or vaccination costs, as well as the Jersey flights. Josh would like to ask you for some assistance with funding this project to help and support the community in poverty and the vulnerable poor children that live there.
