GS United Football Club is delighted to announce JobHunter.je as our Minis Kit Sponsor.
After hearing that GS United were looking to purchase new kits for our players this season, Nick Harris from JobHunter.je spoke GS United Officials Aaron Travers and Ken Brawley about how Job Hunter would like to support the community through his new company and expressed an interest specifically in supporting GS United.
During further discussions about GS United Football Club, conversations lead to how GS United sponsor a child in Bangledesh and Club Chairman Ken Brawley explained that once we purchased a new kit for our players, some of the old kit will be donated by our players to send to our sponsored child and his friends. Currently some of our children are writing to our sponsored child in the hope of striking up a pen-pal friendship and to learn how other children live in other countries.
At this point, Mr Harris expressed an interest in sponsoring our Mini's New Kit. He was impressed that our Club sponsors a child, and that our players are supporting another child who is less advantaged than themselves. Further discussions lead onto JobHunter.je becoming GS United’s Minis Kit Sponsor.
Mr Harris said,
“As part of JobHunter's mission to have a positive impact in Jersey, we are committed to supporting the local community via free advertising and website links to a wide range of volunteering initiatives and charitable causes on island.
We are also delighted to be the new kit sponsor of GS United Football Club, take great pride in dedicating a vision towards the development of players and guiding young children to becoming the best they can be, in whichever path they choose.
This investment in the stars of tomorrow, both on and off the pitch, is something we at Job Hunter are extremely honoured and proud to be involved in.”
GS United Head Coach Aaron Travers stated,
“To have been offered a sponsorship deal from Job Hunter to provide over 50 players their own football kit is fantastic. The support from Mr Harris for the youngsters at GS United has been a brilliant, the kids were delighted to receive their new kit and very thankful to Mr Harris.
We are proud to link the launch of our new Junior Football Club this year, with a new business enterprise that wants to give back to the local community.” he added.
