It has been an amazing three years for Game Sense Soccer!

Game Sense Soccer Coaching held an Open Day event on Sunday 28th April 2013.

With a desire to reach out and introduce, involve and educate players from all walks of life in a fun safe environment our first term started with nine players in School Years 2&3.

Since then interest has excelled! Through our dedicated coaching staff, the support of our parents and players a second practice group soon followed for School Years 4&5.

Demand increased and so we re-structured our Groups and we now host three practice sessions after introducing a Reception and School Year 1 class for almost sixty youngsters to participate!

Through the success of our coaching sessions players and parents requested match day experience to compliment our specific training program.

Game Sense Soccer Coaching evolved to meet the needs of our players and supporters and through the support of the Jersey Football Association GS United Football Club formed in January 2015 and obtained the FA Charter Standard kitemark.

Its been an amazing three years and we would like to thank all our players, parents and coaches, past and present for there support of GS United and helping us become what we are today.

We are very excited about the future and with more developments planned, we know that the future is bright for the youngest Youth Football Club in Jersey.

We are extremely proud of our accomplishments so far, and welcome you to view our Photo Gallery below.

With regards to the St Clements festival over the weekend of 7th and 8th May, unfortunately we do not have enough players available to field 2 squads on each of the days.

As you are aware, our aim is to provide our children with suitable opportunities against appropriate opposition where they will develop their technique, skill and game sense whilst getting the most enjoyment out of each game they participate in.

With the above in mind, we have chosen one squad of players for each day. This unfortunately means some players will miss out on participating in the St Clements Festival this year, however we have been assured that there will be at least one other festival later in the Spring/Summer where those players who have missed out this time will be able to participate. In addition we will be arranging other development fixtures over the coming months where every player will be involved.

If you would like to discuss any of the above please feel free to give me a call or speak to Ken or I on Sunday morning at practice.

Several of our GS United players participated in the Saints Foundation course this week at Springfield Stadium and what a week it has been for them!

A fantastic experience for children who learnt new skills and football knowledge from the Southampton FC coaches. A very enjoyable week had by all topped of by our very own Ethan who was the only player to score 3 out of 3 penalties to win the Year 5 Penalty Competition!

Thanks to the Jersey FA and the Saints Foundation.

We are pleased to confirm that we have arranged a development fixture with Trinity FC Minis.

Trinity have been kind enough to confirm they can host GS United at their home ground The Riley Field (just opposite Trinity Primary School) on Sunday 17th April 2016 for players in School Years 2,3,4&5. This is our first day back for the Summer Term.

Due to this match day opportunity, we shall be cancelling our Practice Sessions for School Years 2,3,4&5 at Grainville School.

However, Group 1 Practice for Reception and School Year 1 shall run as usual at Grainville School from 9am-10am.

Please can you confirm as soon as possible if your child will be available to participate in this fixture. Once we have an idea of number available to play we shall confirm details with Trinity FC Minis and I shall send up confirmation of Kick Off Times etc.

Please can you urgently confirm back to us by no later than Friday 8th April 2016 if your child is available to play, if we do not receive a response then we will assume that your child is unavailable to participate.

We shall send out further details once we know who is available to play.

Many thanks and we look forward to hearing from you.
