Wow! What a month of May it has been!

Two wonderful football festivals providing our players with plenty of match time to support their development, with the latest being this weekend at the JTC Wanderers Minis Festival. Wanderers were even kind enough to organise the sunshine for the weekend event!

With most fixtures throughout the being competitive this created plenty of chances to help our players grow on and off the pitch through the emotional roller coaster of highs and lows that festival football brings. It is a privilege to be a part of.

Some incredible goals scored in particular during Saturdays Year 4&5 games where Hayden smashed a screamer in the top corner from 15 yards and Samuels clever right foot volley across goal into the far post were a delight to witness. We also welcome to new goal keeper Shema who played his first every festival for Game Sense United and produced some great saves one being a total worldie!

Thanks to all our parents for their continued support of our youngsters and development program.  A huge thank you to Clive and his team at Wanderers who organised another great event. And of course to our coaches who continue to give up there weekends to allow us to provided these opportunities for our players.

Next up, Melly World Cup for Year 6s next weekend followed up by the JFA Collas Crill Round Robin event for Years 3&4 on the 3rd June.

Well done to all involved this weekend, loads of positives taken away and a bank load of great memories.

 FIXTURES

Saturday, May 5, 2018

Our Year 2&3 players enjoyed a great day playing in the St Clements FC Minis Football Festival today.

The weather has been kind ensuring football fun in the sun with lots of smiling faces!

Les Oranges enjoyed some competitive games that have been terrific for our youngster development. Each team shared out the Goalkeeping duties and the boys did great! Coaches are delighted with our developement!

Game Sense United to the core... A 'united' group ensure great team work and team spirit, all working hard for each other in a very positive manner.

To add to that some great football played with some very impressive individual performances ensure goals goals goals and also some brilliant defensive work by each team developing our 'Game Sense'

Today saw many players experience their first ever football festival and donning the 'Orange' of Game Sense United. Fantastic for us as a club to introduce youngsters to festival football.

Thank you to all our players involved and to all our very supportive parents who encouraged our youngsters throughout the day. Bravo to our dedicated coaches who continually give up there time to help our young players be the best they can be.
