Wow! What a busy morning for GS United!

A thoroughly enjoyable practice session with our Reception and Year 1 players at Grainville School, and 4 teams playing against JTC Jersey Wanderers too!

Our first group of Years 4&5's had a tough match against very good Year 5 Wanderers team at 9am, and this was followed by another three matches at 10:30am for two groups of our Year 2&3 and our second group of Year 4&5's.

Some terrific football played in by each team, and each game provided a different challenge for our players to find solutions too. Coaches are delighted with all our players, and it was very pleasing to witness our ongoing development and progress from our first ever fixture in February this year until now.

Thank you to all our players and parents, and thank you to our coaches for doing such a fantastic job providing opportunities for our youngsters and encouraging them to be the best they can be.

We now have a short break for Half Term and shall be returning to practice on Sunday 8th November. Training sessions will now be in the sports hall, so please bring trainers and shin pads. I shall send out further information regarding our requirements for indoor training nearer the time.

For now though, enjoy some of the highlights from todays action...
