GS United returns this Sunday! We hope you have all enjoyed your half term break and have settled nicely back into school!
During the break we have received several invitations for developments fixtures from various clubs and have working hard to organise these opportunities for our youngsters.
ROZEL ROVERS MINIS (March)
Next Monday 6th March is the re-arranged fixture versus Rozel Rovers, and Coach Ken Brawley will be following this up with those players involved from the previous postponed game.
TRINITY FC MINIS (March)
We are pleased to advise that we have arranged our next development fixture versus Trinity FC Minis.
Trinity FC Minis have been kind enough to confirm they can host GS United at their home ground The Riley Field (just opposite Trinity Primary School) on Sunday 19th March for players in School Years 1,2,3,4&5.
For the first time, we have the opportunity to allow our Year 1 players to have match day opportunity as a team representing GS United Football Club. Over the second half of this term and during the Summer Term we shall be looking for further opportunities to introduce our Year 1 players to match day environments to prepare them their move into Year 2 in September.
Due to this match day opportunity, we shall be cancelling our Practice Sessions at Grainville School on Sunday 19th March 2017. We would like apologise to our Reception parents and players for this.
Please can you confirm by Wednesday 8th March if your child will or will not be available to participate in this fixture. Once we have an idea of numbers available to play we shall confirm details with Trinity FC Minis and I shall send confirmation of mornings structure including kick off times etc.
