Games, Games, Games!!!

GS United travelled to Haute Vallee today to play our first ever fixture vs Jersey Scottish FC Minis. Games for players in school Years 2&4 where some incredible goals were scored, speculator saves made and some wonderful goal line clearances helped entertain the crowd in two evenly matched games.

Thanks to James Scott and the Jersey Scottish coaches for hosting us, and for all parents and players who played the games in great spirit creating a positive environment.

Today also saw GS United host St.Lawrence FC Years 3&5 at Grainville. After the temperature plummeting below zero last night, a pitch inspection took place at 8:30am where due to the ice on the pitch and surrounds a last minute change from outdoors to indoors was made.

With the games moving indoors this created some different challenges to normal by creating plenty of learning opportunities for players and coaches to overcome.

Thanks to Luca at St.Lawrence for his co-ordination of the St.Lawrence fixtures.

As always a massive thanks to parents and players for all their support and to our dedicated coaching team who continue to provide up-to-date player centred coaching that helps our youngsters develop week on week.

We're very proud of the progress our young players are making and how our club continues to make great strides forward.
